Oral, Feridun
Feridun Oral was born in 1961 in Kirikkale, Turkey.
After graduating from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, he became one of the most prominent illustrators of children’s books in his native country. Aside from book illustrations, he also produces paintings, sculptures, textiles and ceramics in his workshop in Istanbul. He believes that children have an innate love of animals, and that such a love must be fostered. His many children’s books, which often feature animals and nature, have been published all over the world.
