José Sanabria was born in a working-class neighbourhood of Bogotá, Colombia. Even as a child, he plundered all the libraries for reading. With the early age of six he started to dedicate himself to drawing. That was the beginning of a rather difficult path as an illustrator that, at the age of 22 years, led him with many drawings and dreams in the luggage, to Buenos Aires where he now works and lives his dream job.
